Why Can’t I Download Email Attachments or most Programs?
My computer won’t let me download any email attachments (including my coursework I sent home from school, resulting in it being in late) and it won’t let me download any programs I’ve tried to download recently, including Bluevoda and other web Design Software.
When I click the download link it opens up the run/save window fine. If I press save, it puts up the loading bar but when I go to open the file it’s never their.
If I press run, again it loads, asks me whether I want to run or not run but when I press run, the window disappears but nothing happens. Any advice?
I have Windows Vista Home Premium, and my computer has happily let me download the most recent versions of MSN and Yahoo! Messanger. I have Internet Explorer 7 and it won’t let me install Internet Explorer 8.
It will not let me download Opera as suggested either.
My anti-virus is down.
