The Professor Web Learning and Content Management System
is a hosted software package that enables the management and delivery of online
content to learners and the management of the learners and teachers. And is web-based
to facilitate "anytime, anyplace, any pace" access to learning content and administration.
We have engineered the Professor Web LMS/LCMS to be
scalable to meet the needs of individuals, small schools, businesses and universities.
Each version has exceptional functionality to meet the needs of Teachers,
Students, and Administrators.
Which version you chose is dependent on the size of your expected student base,
faculty and the level of administrative control you desire. In each version we have
built in several easy to use wizards to step through you the process of creating
courses, tests, ‘Teacher’ and ‘student’ user accounts and others. To assist you
in managing your faculty, learners and courses we also have several tools like a
contact data base, internal messaging, and calendar with task creation/management,
a library to store files, and tools to track student progress, comments and grades.
The Professor Web solution is also engineered to integrate with all the products we
offer so we can offer you a more rounded solution.
The two editions we offer are: University for medium sized to larger organizations
and Empower for smaller organizations and individuals.

The Professor Web Learning and Content Management System enables the management and delivery of online content to learners, provides tools for authoring content as well as virtual spaces for learner interaction (such as discussion forums, ticketed messaging, and live chat rooms) and provides tools to deliver instructor-led synchronous and asynchronous online training.
Professor Web also allows for learner/student registration, delivery of learning activities, and learner assessment with automated testing in an online environment and includes tools such as competency management (real time transcripts), session planning, syllabus creation/management, degree programs, certification programs, and much more.

Among the many other features we built in to the LMS is the ability to create question data bases. So when you create a course with a test, you can configure the test to pull questions at random from the question data bases at the time a student takes the test, so no two tests are the same. And you only need to create the questions one time to use in multiple courses and for evaluation. All tests are auto-graded on student completion. You can also set a time limit for a student to complete the test.
Student Feedback: a very important part of any course management. We built multiple student comment entry points throughout the course taking processes so you, the course manager, can analyze the comments to make edits as necessary to improve your courses. The comments reports can be viewed by course or by individual student. |
